In the wake of joining the Fort Worth-based Tandy Corp. in 1967, he rose through the positions and aided transform it into a PC behemoth in the last part of the 1970s.
At 42, he was named Tandy’s leader in 1981 and later CEO from 1983 to 1998.

Cockroach acquired a material science and math degree from TCU and later added a graduate degree in business organization.
It was during his master’s level college time at TCU that Roach previously educated of PC programming.
Insect was born on Nov. 22, 1938, in Stamford. His family moved to Fort Worth in 1942.
John V. Insect Wife and Children Insect is made due by his better half of 59 years, Jean and two little girls Amy Roach Bailey and Lori Roach Davis-seven grandkids, and one incredible grandkid.
His better half and two girls are additionally TCU graduates. They would have praised their 60th wedding commemoration.
