Ortega conversed with ET’s Lauren Zima at the MTV Movie and TV Awards privileged pathway in June about wandering into the shoes of Wednesday for the normal series. “I feel very lucky to have had the choice to portray Wednesday Addams as a youngster and to watch her head out into life experience school and supplement herself in a spot overflowing with untouchables where she really remains an outcast in a vast expanse of untouchables,” she told ET at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica.
